Vienna Looi is the winner of UN Reboot The Earth competition with her winning solution Bowl.eco that aims to create a new cooling economic model through technology & incubating an Earth 2030 climate-conscious economy. She was also a keynote speaker in the UN Commission for Social Development for the session "Digital Innovation for Youth Engagement in Agenda2030".
Additionally, Vienna co-founded Economic Space Agency (sustainable distributed ledger technology), helped start Consciousness Hacking, run Women In Blockchain San Francisco and contributes to COALA.global. In Malaysia, Vienna co-founded DurianAsean (media station) and KillTheBill (award-winning human rights law organization, part of a 300,000-person electoral reform movement, Bersih). She proposed for blockchain-based election and governance in 2012-13.
Vienna co-founded start-ups and movements: early 2011 blockchain start-up (angel invested in the space), Economic Space Agency, DurianAsean (ASEAN socio-economic current affairs media station) and KillTheBill (award-winning human rights movement that peacefully transformed the world’s longest ruling regime). She studied law at University of London and International Development in Washington DC on a Leadership Scholarship; and presents at Singularity University, MIT, etc.
