Jordan Wilson-Dalzell

Associate

Jordan Wilson-Dazell has thrived in several roles in the nonprofit sector serving women's rights, high-quality education, and economic empowerment. Prior to joining Good Cause Group, she gained experience with Global Fund for Women in San Francisco where she supported strategic partnerships with foundations and major donors, crowdfunding, and building local partnerships to empower grassroots community based organizations. In her internship at Silicon Valley Community Foundation, she worked closely with the development team on education projects focused on early childhood education. She identified high-quality program partnerships that would both close the education opportunity gap around exposure and serve the whole child with experiential learning.

Jordan is committed to ensuring that all children have access to developmentally appropriate quality learning and is focused on delivering those resources to vulnerable communities. She facilitates literary art workshops to youth in the San Francisco Bay Area and continues to perform on multiple slam poetry teams and as a mentor, loves amplifying her students’ voices, on and off the stage. As an educator and community builder, she is able to facilitate strong relationships between philanthropists and organizations.

A voracious reader, she loves losing herself in a book and a cup of tea. Jordan is constantly learning from all parts of her life and hopes to never lose that curiosity, passion and drive to develop new community building skills. She loves ethically collaborating with marginalized community organizations to support their work on the ground.

Jordan earned her BA in Chicanx Studies and Creative Writing from Pitzer College. A lifelong learner of creative writing and social justice-based teaching, she is currently pursuing an MFA from the California Institute of Integral Studies. At Good Cause Group, she supports organizations with fundraising and community outreach efforts in the San Francisco Bay Area.
